Get Girls Going (GGG) empowers Black teen girls to create social enterprises that solve problems in the world, and in doing so equips them to be leaders that challenge racial and gender inequalities that prevent them from success.
We envision a day where young Black women have equitable opportunities, resources, mentorship, and access to quality education entrepreneurs need to become successful leaders in their community.
Social Innovation & Enterprises
We believe that all entrepreneurial endeavors should ultimately aim to improve the welfare and wellbeing of individuals and communities.
Mentorship & Sisterhood
We believe in the power of near peer mentorship and the empowerment that arises from relationships with diverse cultures, experiences, identities and beliefs
We believe that youth have the creative ability to lead change in their communities and must be uplifted, heard and supported.
We believe that all people no matter their race, gender and economic status must have access to the same opportunities. We recognize intersectionality and compounded inequities many face.
We believe that communities have the power to change their own circumstances and must be positioned at the center of any future innovations that aim to address the problems they face.
We believe in overcoming challenges by constantly improving skills, identifying and learning from mistakes and proactively implementing new ideas.
